Field Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute customer jobs
  • Manage proper load out of all needed equipment for customer jobs
  • Lead safety meetings; manage on-site safety
  • Understand pumping capabilities and pressure ratings of all equipment
  • Determine Fluids, Gels, Friction Reducers, and Die Pills to be used for each job
  • Calculate/determine on location Hole Volume, Fluid Capacity, Annular Capacity at varying rates, BHP, and Hydrostatic Fluid Valve at True Vertical Depth
  • Make real time decisions to insure well control and hole cleaning

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Issue daily cost, final job ticket, and damages
  • Negotiate pricing/charge issues on-site with Customer Representatives
  • Supervise Helpers, Operators; appraise their performance for recommending promotions, pay changes; recommend candidates for open positions

Education, Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED; PREFERRED: Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree;
  • 3 years related experience and/or training in the field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certifications:

  • Well Control School Supervisor

Required Skills:

  • 3 years Flow Back Experience as Hydraulic Choke Supervisor
  • Supervisory experience within the oil and gas industry; ability to lead, communicate, organize and manage personnel
  • Ability to interpret and analyze extensive variety of instructions and information, both oral and written
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to make quick decisive decisions based on real-time well information
